This book shows a way of life that Anthony Gunson and his fellow villagers lived. His joinery expertise covered a large area. He drew plans for houses, organized their construction, carried out the joinery work and employed the necessary craftsmen. Furniture making, all manner of  household items and coffins was also carried out in his busy workshop.  His account book lists many local families in the north Cumberland area. These are listed in an index at the back of this book. with some helpful information for family researchers.
