National Science Week 2009

We had several visitors on the Monday night who were intrigued to see Saturn and the Orion nebula. On Wednesday we had a large group of cub/scouts, from the Heads Nook group as well as five other people arriving as a result of the advert in the News and Star, see below.

Unfortunately it was cloudy, with rain, on Monday and Wednesday so we were restricted to showing everybody the telescope, a powerpoint presentation on what we do and a discussion/advice session with people interested in using or purchasing their own telescope.
